The negative form

Present continuous negative form

• In order to turn a sentence in the present continuous tense into negative, you just put the word ( NOT) after the conjugated verb ( BE ).

Example:

•  I'm watching a tennis game on T.V.

I'm not watching a tennis game on T.V.   (It's just that simple)

Reciprocal Pronouns

  One of the easiest type of pronouns to understand is the reciprocal pronouns, let's take a look at it.

1. Peter and his fiancee are arguing with each other.

  What do you notice from the example above?

The thing that I notice is that peter is arguing with his fiancee and his fiancee is arguing with him.

 

So, both of them are doing the same action; there is a mutual action between them which is (arguing).

They are subjects of only one verb, that's why we use a reciprocal pronouns.

• What is an indefinite Pronoun?

The Indefinite Pronouns

It is a pronoun that you use when you want to indicate to things or people

without determining who or what they are.

in other words, they are used to refer to non specified people or things.

• There are singular indefinite pronouns, plural indefinite pronouns and variable indefinite pronouns:

Different types of Indefinite pronouns

• First: the singular ones.

For people:

Everybody - everyone
Somebody   - some one
nobody    - no one
anybody   - anyone.

This is an important type of English pronouns and you really need to master it as much as possible.

what are relative pronouns?

These pronouns are:

(Who, Whom, Which, That and Whose)

• I drove the car that I got for my birthday.

(I drove the car) is (main clause)

(that) is (relative pronoun)

(I got for my birthday) is ( relative clause).

• A relative pronoun introduces a relative clause and there are two types of relative clauses

defining and non defining relative clauses.

• Another type of pronouns in the English language is what is called (reflexive pronouns).

• What is a reflexive pronoun?

It is a pronoun that you use when you want to show that the object of a verb is exactly the same as the subject of that verb.

 How to form reflexive pronoun

For Example:

 1. I cut myself shaving.

The subject which is  (I) and the object which is (myself) are the same.

• there are different types of pronouns and they have different usages. one of the most confusing pronouns are the demonstrative pronouns,but after learning them you will find out that they are very easy to use and to be understood

 let's take a look at them

a demonstrative pronoun identifies a thing or things a person or people.

• Structure

   

I                   am + (verb+ ING).

She               is + (verb+ ING).

They             are + (Verb+ ING).

So, you conjugate verb (be) in the Simple present tense according to the subject and the verb in the base form + ING.

Past Simpe Tense (part 4)

How to form a question:

First: WH questions.

• In order to form a question in the past simple; you need to use an auxiliary verb which is (DID).

How to form a WH question in simple past

For Example:

1. I watched a movie last night.

• if you want to ask a question with what ( to ask for information about things or people).

put (what) + auxiliary verb (did) +  (Subject)  + verb in base form.................................?

So the question will be:

• What did you watch last night?

Another example:

Definite and Indefinite articles

  3. The bus is so packed.

• As you can see from the examples above, in the English language (a, an and the) are the definite and indefinite articles.

turning  this sentence into the negative form is very EASY

• All you need to do is just adding the auxiliary (did not) which is in spoken English contracted to (didn't) before the verb in its base form.

 so it will be:

• We use the past simple tense to talk about an action that started and finished in the past (completed actions) 

       For example:

The past simple tense:   الماضي البسيط 

Structure:     التركيب

With all subjects whether it is singular or plural; the past simple is conjugated the same way. 

الفاعل سواء كان مفرد أو جمع, الفعل بيتصرف معه بنفس الطريقه في زمن الماضي البسيط

Regular verbs:     الأفعال غير الشاذه

 How to add (ed) to a verb in past simple tense

With regular verbs you just add (Ed, d or ied).

For example:

   How to form a question:    كيف نكون سؤال.

• Just like the negative form you need an auxiliary verb to from a question in the present simple.

Note:

With (he, she and it) we use the auxiliary (does).

With these pronouns (I, we, they and you); we use the auxiliary (do).

Present Simple Tense (part 3)

      The negative form of the simple present:     أزاي ننفي المضارع البسيط

• In order to make the negative form you need to use an auxiliary verb.

With (he, she and it) we use the auxiliary (does) + not.

We put (does not) after the subject and before the verb in its base form.

For example:

Usage of simple present:  أستخدام المضارع البسيط

• We use that tense when we talk about:

a) An action that happens regularly, that means that it could happen every (day, week, year, 100 years,............Etc).

As long as it happens regularly you should use the simple present.

The present simple tense:                      زمن المضارع البسيط

·      The structure:                       تكوين الزمن                                      

Subject:        الفاعل

I                     (أنا)

They              (هم)

                      +          (verb in the infinitive form)

We               (نحن)

You                  (أنت – أنتم)

 

·        نضع الفعل في المصدر كما هو بدون أي أضافات .

My own way of learning

</ My experience of learning the language: 

  One day, when I was at school I had a plan in my mind and wanted to execute it. This plan was that I had to speak English as fluently as I could and I thought this was going to be easy and it actually is. But in order to achieve a goal like that there are some requirements.

 First you need to ask yourself some questions and based on your answers you can determine the way that you will use to learn the English language. These questions are:

1.  Why do you intend to learn the language? 
2. Are you just trying to make a lot of money? 
3. Are you trying to communicate with people from all over the world or you want to get a better job?
